Butterfly Effect WELLbeing
Wild Fields counselling and psychotherapy offers a space to explore the ways we have adapted to cope with the conditions of our lives. Together, we can gently look at patterns, beliefs, and relational experiences that may no longer be serving you. Therapy is about understanding, reframing, and, creating room for change.
Wanting things to be different, or recognising the need for support, takes courage. We all need support at different times in our lives, and there is wisdom in knowing when to reach for it.
We work collaboratively and relationally. We listen carefully, and explore together, always safely and respectfully. Therapy may involve looking at difficult or painful experiences, and it also allows space for meaning, possibility, and renewed connection — with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.
Long-term and short-term work is offered, with session frequency adapted to your needs. We recognise that meaningful change often unfolds over time and within a trusting therapeutic relationship.
We work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and lived experiences, including differences in gender, sexuality, race, class, neurodiversity, age, and disability. We understand that none of us exist in isolation — our lives are shaped by wider social, cultural, and relational contexts. These experiences are welcomed and held as an important part of the therapeutic work.
Above all, we bring care, compassion, and depth to our work. Rather than trying to fix or uproot your experiences, we walk alongside you — noticing what wants to change, and what may be ready to be left behind.
Behind the gentle name, we are highly qualified and experienced therapists BA (Hons), BSc (Hons) and PG Dip in psychotheraputic practices supporting children, young people and adults through life’s many seasons. We are members of BACP and UKCP with many years of experience between us within a wide range of settings. We have worked in senior roles such as Clinical Lead and CEO within other organisations, alongside long-standing clinical practice.
We work in line with the BACP and UKCP ethical guidelines, ensuring safe, ethical and professional practice at all times. Our work is supported by ongoing training, reflective practice and a strong commitment to care, integrity and accountability.
Beyond our training and experience, what matters to us most is this;
We care about people. We care about stories, about tender and tangled places inside of you, about resilience, vulnerability, and the quiet bravery it took you to get here.
Our work is guided by gentle, person-centred approaches that honour your unique story, pace and lived experience. We don’t follow rigid models or rush the process. Instead, we create a safe, spacious therapeutic relationship where exploration can unfold naturally and meaningfully. Therapy with Wild Fields is:
Like fertile ground, growth begins where there is safety. We are committed to creating a space that is warm and deeply human. We value curiosity over certainty, compassion over correction and connection over clinical distance.
Every life holds complexity, mystery, joy, struggle and meaning. We honour the real you with warmth, presence, reverence and humility, recognising the courage it takes to share it.
Our values are the living roots of our practice.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), our work is guided by social purpose rather than private profit. Any surplus we generate is reinvested back into the service – helping us offer sliding-scale sessions, support wider access to therapy and care for our local community.
Being a CIC reflects our values: that emotional support should be ethical, accessible and rooted in collective wellbeing.
